JFK Hospital Clean Up Campaign

Over 200 employees The Ezzat Eid Charity Foundation (City Builders Inc., International Aluminum Factory, Royal Grand Hotel, and Madina Rock Crusher) have conducted a massive cleaning up exercise at the compound of the John F. Kennedy Medical Center (JFK) in Sinkor, Monrovia.

They signed up for the campaign and showed enthusiasm throughout the day, cleaning and disposing stockpile of garbage. Over US$5,000 was spent on the exercise which included purchases of equipment used during the cleaning up and were later donated to the hospital. More than 30 truck loads of wastes including toxic wastes were carried by City Builders trucks and dumped at the suitable dumping sites.

 

The charity considers volunteering and giving back to Liberia as part of its social corporate responsibility program.
